Meet Dr. Espe

A lifelong Minnesotan, Dr. Espe has been in private practice in the Twin Cities metro area for nearly 15 years. She is thrilled to join the talented team at Children's Dental Care & Orthodontics and looks forward to meeting new patients.

Dr. Espe’s love of both art and science led her to a career in orthodontics, where she enjoys creating healthy, beautiful smiles every day. She feels fortunate to be able to make positive impact on every patient’s self-confidence.

She values building relationships with patients, understanding their goals, and guiding them through their smile transformation to ensure the best possible outcome. Dr. Espe treats every patient with a kind, gentle approach and provides the same attention to detail that she would give to her own family.

Dr. Espe received her undergraduate degree in biology from St. Olaf College. Later, she attended the University of Minnesota where she was accepted into the Omicron Kapp Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She continued her studies at the University of Minnesota and received a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree.

Dedicated to ongoing learning, Dr. Espe actively keeps up with advancements in dentistry and orthodontics. She is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Espe and her husband Karl stay busy with their four children. In her free time, Dr. Espe enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
